The Black Box

The term "black box" is synonymous with the hard to destroy recordings of an airplane which invokes a feeling of security for the work. Even through disaster a record of Kruger's work will still survive.

The work The Black Box is made up of individual components, each a building project for a distinct client, that are similar to our project in that it is also made up of individual components, i.e. boxes, that when combined make a whole. The Idea of bringing together different works and making a new identity out of it was intriguing. The works that make up The Black Box are done in an stylised artistic way that in not the norm for project documentation.
